Recap of the issues between Jarrett and SEX. As promised last week, we start with the sitdown interview with Tenay and Russo. He starts by asking what Russo's roles are as a wrestling TV writer, for the uninformed watching. Russo says his role is to make sure there are as many people watching as possible and by any extremes necessary, do whatever possible to put people in front of the TV to watch the show. He says everything is ratings in this business, or in their case, PPV buys Tenay follows up asking how much the writer affects the success of a TV show. He says they have a big influence, because if someone like Tenay were writing, we'd have a 2-hour wrestling match no one would watch, the show would fail, it wouldn't be on the air. He says that there is a lace for wrestling, this "sport" as Tenay put it is built on it, but it needs to change and evolve, and sooner or later Tenay will understand that.
