NWA-TNA Weekly PPV #9 (August 14, 2002)
We start with reminding us Truth winning the NWA Title last week. Over to the arena as Truth makes his way out. He says that from this point on, the fans are in attendance, and it's called the TNA Asylum, like it or not. He says he became a legend last week, he came to NWA a very bitter man with good reason, wasn't sure he was going to get the opportunities he was supposed to. He says the color of his skin has always made it difficult for him to compete. He brings up his time in WWF and says he was told by a "senior official" that he couldn't make the same mistakes as everyone else because he's a black man in a white man's world. He says he's a black man in a man's world, so from here on, he's a damn legend. When he's given an opportunity he's going to do what he does best, knock the duff off someone's ass. Eventually he's interrupted by Jarrett. He calls Truth Walt Disney and tells him to put his dreams away, because Jarret...
