NWA-TNA Weekly PPV #25 (December 11, 2002)

Recap of Russo and Piper's promos last week, though they smart to leave out Piper's accusation of Russo killing Owen, but leaving out his comparison to Bin Laden. Also reminded of the Harris Twins and BG James joining Russo's cause, ending with the sudden appearance of the former Paul Bearer. Jason Cross vs Tony Mamaluke Pre-Match : Jason Cross a 6-year pro at this point from Georgia. Spent a bulk of his time in various NWA promotions, last wrestling in 2017. He also had a match on Xplosion a week before this show. Quick exchange of holds until Cross counters an arm lock with a suplex, then Tony catches him with a drop toe hold into the bottom rope. Tony misses a leg drop and is sent into the ring post, allowing Cross to follow with a corkscrew senton. Cross with a moonsault off the steps countered with a knee to the gut, before being sent back first into the apron, then returns to the ring. Cross set up in a tree of woe but Tony misses a baseball slide into the ring post, ...

NWA-TNA Weekly PPV #24 (December 3, 2002)

We start right where we left off last week and after the show went off the air, with Truth and Russo now getting into a fight as Jarrett looks on. Security rush in to break them up. They have words that are mostly censored. Still no answer from Jarrett. Tenay welcomes us to the show, but he's quickly interrupted by some familiar bagpipe music, as Roddy Piper makes his way out with... well some guy I don't realize. Apparently he's on a book tour. He says he's gone around America the last 30 days, and I guess since he was coming to Nashville he decided to come around, no one knew he was coming. He turns his attention right to Russo and says NWA is the last place he hasn't killed. He says Russo was a little hump of thing when he first came around, but as he grew up he turned into a 300lb lump of thing, When Russo sat on the toilet, his obliques would drag on the ground, as he watched TV and dreamed to be a wrestler, but he failed. So he decided to be a sports entertain...
